Local Food Hub celebrates the folks who keep our mouths full of farm fresh ingredients
Thursday evening, on October 22, something special is lighting up the Ivy night sky and filling our hearts with the childhood sweetness of a campfire desert. The cville nonprofit Local Food Hub, which helps distribute food from area farms to ensure their survival, will host an event which showcases our appreciation for local farming and the tasty nutrients which get delivered to our bellies everyday. Beginning at 5:30 PM there will be an awards ceremony, and afterwards, a community meal, bonfire, s’mores, and a fun photo booth. And wait for it ... the event is FREE of charge. But you have to RSVP by emailing the Local Food Hub firstname.lastname@example.org.
